Eris (エリス) is a mysterious woman observing the events occurring in Landosol. She poses as the mastermind behind the guild, Rage Legion, and their actions in Arc 2.

Personality[]
Very little is known about Eris. She has been observing all events happening in and out of Landosol for quite some time. Eris seems to be a ominous presence within the world of Astrum, as when Yuuki and the others defeat Mana Senri, she warned them that "the menace she was working to destroy" is now their problem, likely referring to her as she was observing the entire battle.
Eris seems to hold some sort of fondness for Yuuki, as she has been shown to mainly observe him. This is later further proven when she finally meets him, where Eris embraces Yuuki after defeating the others.

In Re:Dive[]
Arc 1[]
After Yuuki and the rest successfully defeat Kaiser Insight and prepare to help rebuild Landosol, Eris is shown to have been watching them from an unknown location. Before ending her observation, she focuses on Yuuki, promising that they will meet again.
Arc 2[]
At some point, Eris had given Misora the task of capturing any of the remaining Seven Crowns members. Misora was successful in getting Christina all alone with her, allowing Eris to catch her by surprise and abduct her. Not long after, she was able to infiltrate Neneka' s base when she was alone. Though Neneka was resisting, Eris eventually overpowered her. Masaki, hearing the skirmish, arrived too late to save Neneka as Eris abducted her.
When all of 'Rage Legion' lost to Yuuki and the others, Eris arrives during the aftermath thanks to Misora using Yui's presence to bring her there. Misora introduces her as her master, whom the rest of 'Rage Legion' never even knew of. Eris easily overpowers everyone, defeating them. Afterwards, she slowly makes her way towards a defeated Yuuki. Eris kneels down and embraces him, surprising Yuuki and a still conscious Yui. Eris tells Yuuki that it is her as her mask falls off while tightly embracing him. Yui reacts in abject shock when Eris looks at her, revealing her face as Yui's. The rest regained consciousness and saw Eris' true face and were similarly shocked, believing that Eris and Yui are the same person.
Misora, however, explained that though Yui and Eris shared the same appearance/"avatar", they are two different people. Eris then has Misora explain the truth to them, where Misora adds that Eris was born from the very wish that Yui had made during Twinkle Wish's ill-fated battle with Kaiser Insight at the Tower of Sol's top floor. Mana had sensed Yui's connection to Minerva and tried to interrupt it by killing her, but Yuuki took the blow instead, allowing the "Princess Connect" process to be finalized. Afterwards, Eris had then been given access to Legend of Astrum's system, allowing her to manipulate everything and do what she pleases, revealing her to be the one behind the world being reset each time Yuuki failed to defeat Mana in the reconstructed world. The group are able to escape her attack when Azold stays behind and sacrifices himself.
Trivia[]
- Eris is the only person other than Yui Kusano and Hiyori Harusaki to call Yuuki by "Kishi-kun".
- In a official artbook/setting book from Cygames, Eris' true identity was hinted at. They had marked it as "01C2_yui" and beside it there was text that read "Princess Form" and below that, "[Kusano Yui]".
- Her name is based the Greek goddess of strife and discord with the same name, Eris.
- Her fallen angels' name are based on Eris' children. Type-R Algea/Algos, Type-Q Lethe, and Type-P Dysnomia.
