Playable Characters[]
- Playable Characters come in different rarities (1★, 2★, and 3★) and can be upgraded (to a maximum of 5★ or 6★).
- They are either Physical or Magical type.
- They are assigned a position of Back, Mid, or Front.
- They have one of the following 5 Attributes : Fire, Water, Wind, Light, Dark (6th anniversary update)
- They have one of the following 8 Roles : Attacker, Breaker, Buffer, Debuffer, Booster, Healer, Tank, Jammer (7th anniversary update)

Non-Playable Characters (NPCs)[]

Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) are Characters in Princess Connect! Re:Dive which cannot be controlled by players. The most common occurrence of NPCs is during Main Stories, Character Stories, Guild Stories, and Events which are presented in visual novel style.
